The film is set in 2064 , on a mission to move from the un inhabitable world to another habitable place.

'Proff.Brand' , a brilliant NASA physicist , is working on plans to save mankind by this mission. But first 'Brand' must send ' Cooper' and a team of researchers ( Dr.Brand ( prof.Brand daughter) , Doyle , Romilly , and two Robots ( TARS AND CASE )  )  through the warmhole to across the galaxy to find which of three planets could be mankind new home.   :- This is plan "B".
