" SO EXPLAIN BASIC STORY "

The story of the movie is based on

how the way of life of the JEWS of poland change during  WORLD WAR - 2 and what kind of hardships , Persecution , Humiliation etc. Were imposed on them in their life . All the issues are highlighted in a clear and realistic way in the story of the movie .

The name of the movie suggests that it is based on a PIANIST . This statement is true and meaningful .

The story is based on the life of a Jewish pianist.  His name is Szpilman.  He played the piano on a radio station in Poland.  His name was famous because he was a very good pianist.  He lived together with his family.  His family consisted of his father, mother, his brother and two sisters.  Their day was somehow going well . 

One day a girl met him.  His name was Darota.  Darota says that she likes playing the piano very much and in her mind she loves szpilman . 

Then suddenly one day Germany declared war.  Despite his opposition, Britain, Russia, Spain and other countries also declared war.  However, before the opposition could attack, Germany invaded Poland and bombed and destroyed all the radio stations there, separating the Jewish people from the common people.  The whole of Poland was occupied by the German army.

Due to the lack of a radio station, szpilman's work stopped and his family began to have financial problems.  Then szpilman would play the piano at a club since those were open. Many rules are gradually being imposed on the Jews such as they have to wear white clothes, they cannot sit on benches, they cannot go to the park, they cannot keep more than 2000 rupees, etc. 

The Jews were then evacuated and their homes were walled off from the general population, making their lives miserable.  The German army used the Jews for various purposes. There is no forgiveness for the mistake of killing the Jews.  The Germans are slowly killing the old Jews because they can't do much.  As a result, the number of Jews rose from 5 million to 60,000. 

Szpilman had an acquaintance who secretly employed him in German construction.  One day he was badly beaten for doing something wrong and then someone changed his job because he would die one day if he continued like this.

                                             

After spending some time like this, szpilman escapes from there and a friend lets him stay in a room and gives him food every 1/2 week.  Some people in that building may know that he is Jewish so he escapes and goes to a house where he meets his former acquaintance Darota.  Darota was married again because she was pregnant.  Darota and her husband see a house for her and forbid her to leave because German soldiers will kill her in Berule.  Thus day after day he fell ill from the house and left.

When he went outside, he saw that everything had been destroyed and that the houses had been reduced to rubble.  He keeps looking for food like a beggar because he has not eaten for a long time.  Eventually a German soldier sees him and feeds him and takes off his coat so that his life is saved.

By this time the war was over and a new life of szpilman had begun.  Now he starts playing the piano again in concert and gets enough respect from the people.

This story may seem like a simple story later but watching the movie may make your chest tremble at the sight of all those atrocities.  The movie is so much a reality virtue that it can be felt by watching it. 

So all of you should watch this awesome movie at least once.......
